Volunteer Appreciation

In an attempt to thank all our volunteers, a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is provided each February. In 2013 alone, 3,853 volunteer hours were recorded, a savings of $85,305 for our agency. We could not operate without our board, committees, special event volunteers, professional volunteers, interns, and others. Thank you!

Professional CEU Seminars

Licensed professionals are often required to obtain continuing education units (CEUs) by their governing boards.  Our professional continuing education courses are not just for behavioral health therapists, although all our professional training is accredited for LPCs, nurses, and social workers (or provides contact hours).  We also include certified peer recovery specialists (CPRS). We host our Mental Health Law course in November and an Ethics training in December, and we always submit the programs for CLE for attorneys and CME for mediators.  Other workshops and seminars have provided CEUs for athletic trainers, dietitians, funeral home directors, recreational therapists, HR professionals, nursing home administrators, and others.

Want an exhibit table or to register for our upcoming continuing education workshops? Check out our upcoming events in the above calendar as speakers and dates are finalized.
